My Grocery Finds at Shopwise 21st Anniversary Special

Shopping is more fun when there's a huge discount. I did a last minute grocery at Shopwise Makati to catch the 'times ten points'  (x10) with my Shopwise card given every 1st Wednesday of the month. Shopwise is also celebrating its 21st anniversary, as expected there are best deals and buy one, take one from different brands.

People aren't kidding when they say "you can buy anything at Shopwise". I love to shop at Shopwise because its huge, spacious, and complete. There's no need to go to the wet market 'palengke' to buy ingredients, you can get them at Shopwise.

As mentioned earlier, Shopwise is celebrating 21 years of serving Filipino families. That's a long time! I can still remember doing our grocery in Shopwise Cubao before going home to San Mateo, Rizal.

After my Sun Life Training Course in Makati, I went to Shopwise Chino Roces to catch its 21Tastic Treats. It's great that the supermarket closes at 10pm so I still managed to do my grocery shopping. At the entrance I already had an idea what items are on sale, you can easily find them at the display area near the counters. A friendly staff also offered a Shopwise catalog where all the promos and deals are listed. The first page includes all Buy 1 Take 1 products example is Buy 1 kilo pork get 500 grams of the same product.

Pasta and all kinds of pasta sauces

On long weekends, I already plan what to cook and that includes tomato-based pasta dish for snacks. Yes, you read it right! Meryenda lang namin ang pasta because I still cook for dinner and I prefer rice during meals. Papa Alfredo Sauce is on sale so I bought a bottle and San Remo noodles in time for World Pasta Day.

There's a free Quaker Oats cookies when you buy 2 Alaska Fresh Milk. I bought because we drink milk in the morning. I also use it for my coffee.

I must admit! Home appliances is one of the reasons I get a Shopwise card. My husband and I enjoy going around the appliance and furniture sections of Shopwise. A few years back, we bought stainless steel cabinets for our pantry, black crates for organizing, curtains and bed sheets.

I love a good deal on toilet paper. It's easy to store, I mean you don't have to worry on expiration date. I found Vanita bathroom tissue 12 rolls with free 4 rolls at P272. There's also cheaper brand of tissue paper, Sanicare Towel Jumbo Twin Pack and you get a free Sanicare Mood Dinner Napkins 20's.

Next is the fruits and vegetable sections. Lemons are on sale. White onion is on Buy 1kg at P188, get 1kg for free, perfect for sharing to my siblings. Another reasons why I love Shopwise is because they have a wide array of organic vegetables.

I passed by the fresh meat and seafood sections and then straight to the frozen sections. It's been a while since we had an ice cream so I bought Selecta Ice Cream 1.5 liter with free 750ml Selecta ice cream in chocolate ube flavor. On another corner are cold cuts, I grab a pack of sweet ham for breakfast sandwich. It's best and yummy with Japanese mayo, cheese and organic lettuce in multi-grain bread.
