The Covid-19 pandemic has affected millions of people around the globe with hundreds of thousands infected with the virus. Good to know that more and more companies are initiating donation and fundraising efforts to help fight this crisis. In some cases, actual buildings built dedicated to treating COVID-19 patients.

LG Electronics Philippines, remaining committed to the call of raising the comfort of both patients and health workers alike, outfitted the facility with a staggering number of home appliances. LG donated 65 28” LED Monitors, 4 Top Load Washing Machines, 5 Top Mount Refrigerators, and 2 1HP Split-Type Air conditioners which combined amount over to over 1 million Pesos.
Each patient room, which will have patients isolating for at least 14 days, will have an LG LED Monitor to keep them company while the heavy duty washing machines, refrigerators, and air-conditioners provide a big help for the staff staying in and taking care of the patients.

LG Managing Director Inkwun Heo shared his thoughts regarding the donation, stating “Even as the country transitions to a General Community Quarantine and restrictions are slowly lessened, Filipinos and health institutions still need all the help they can get. As long as we can lend our assistance, we’re more than happy to oblige”.
