Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy going around every aisle and reading the labels of products that seems new to me. My favorite section of the grocery is the one that highlights local products like coffee, spreads, healthy snacks/chips and some balikbayan, pasalubong items. I do my grocery shopping at least twice a month, and unplanned trips whenever I passed by the supermarket. That's why I make sure to always bring a reusable or eco-bag.

I had a fun shopping experience the other day at Puregold Southgate Mall. Walastik Mondays simply means No Plastic on Mondays. It's Puregold's initiative that encourage shoppers to bring reusable bags every time they shop at Puregold and any other supermarkets.

It became a habit for me to carry an eco-friendly bag. Over the years, I've collected several reusable and eco-friendly bags from the events I attended. It comes in different colors, sizes and design so you can match it with your outfit. Cotton and canvas bags are most common. I have a nice denim ecobag as well. I always bring one because there are cities that really do not allow the use of plastic, your goods are placed inside a brown paper.
