Everyone understands that our time on earth is limited. But despite this, there are still a lot of people who brush off the idea of pre-planning their services. Simply mention the word "funeral" and observe how they react. For most of us, the response would be sadness for they suddenly remember the death of a loved one. Some may find it uncomfortable to talk about. But a lot I know is just okay and open-minded to plan their funeral service.

Whether you are a Christian or simply have other beliefs, or someone who doesn't believe in God, I guess a funeral is a type of service that we cannot skip. Funerals are a way of honoring a person's life. It can also be a venue where families and friends can find comfort during difficult times.

Recently, St. Peter Life Plan and Chapels celebrated its Death Care Week, a major Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Service Program of St. Peter Chapels that aims to promote awareness on deathcare planning and preparation. I was invited to visit one of the booths located at Market! Market! Taguig.

Peter's Patio welcomes mall-goers with a free coffee as they talk to one of St. Peter Sales Agents. Guests learned about the affordable memorial packages offered by St. Peter Life Plan. These are St. George, St. Gregory, St. Claire, St. Bernadette and St. Anne. Aside from these traditional life plans, St. Peter Life Plan also has cremation services in Manila.
